Letters to God: Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church Screens Major Motion Picture and Supports CURE Childhood Cancer

On Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 6:00 pm, Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church will hold a screening of the major motion picture, Letters to God, premiering in theaters nationwide in April 2010. From the makers of Fireproof and Facing the Giants, Letters to God is an inspiring motion picture based on the true story of a young boy fighting cancer who finds strength and hope through writing letters to God and in doing so changes the lives of those around him.

According to the filmmakers, Letters to God is not just a movie it is a mission-a mission to show people that through prayer and love, hope is spread. In the movie a little boy dealing with cancer writes letters to God. These letters spread hope to his friends and family.

Free tickets are available by clicking here or by emailing info@curechildhoodcancer.org.  An offering will be taken after the movie with 100% of donations and concession proceeds benefiting CURE Childhood Cancer.

The movie will be shown in the Mount Pisgah North Sanctuary. Doors open at 5:00pm (with ticket) and 5:45pm (without ticket).
