On Sunday, May 3, 2009, a 5K Run/2K Fun Run/Walk/ Tot Trot and Picnic will be held, rain or shine, at the Concourse Office Park at 4 Concourse Parkway NE, Atlanta, 30328, near Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. and I-285.
Lauren’s Run was founded in 1992 in memory of Atlantans Lauren Zagoria, and continuing also in the memory of Lauren Kochman, both of whom died from neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer, while still toddlers. Since its inception, Lauren’s Run has raised over $2 million for pediatric cancer research.
Following the runs participants are invited to stay for the CURE Childhood Cancer Annual Picnic. Games and fun are also provided on the grounds by Amusement Masters. Lunch will be provide by Folks Southern Kitchen.

Founded in 1975, Atlanta, GA-based CURE Childhood Cancer has raised millions of dollars for research and ongoing education of pediatric cancer. CURE currently funds two pediatric oncology Fellows at the Emory University School of Medicine.
