The 26th Annual Care Affair to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer

care-affair-logoThe 26th Annual Care Affair is sure to be a night to remember.  Hosted by the Atlanta Tri Delta Alumnae Association, Care Affair will be held on April 25, 2009 at 103 West in Buckhead. The event will go back to its roots with a cocktail hour, seated dinner and live auction all in support of CURE Childhood Cancer, a Georgia-based non-profit organization who strives to triumph over cancer through research, education, and support of the patients and families battling pediatric cancer.  Since 1975, CURE has raised millions of dollars in an effort to eradicate childhood cancer and work towards its mission of finding a cure for childhood cancer in our lifetime.
In the past 26 years, the Care Affair events held by the Atlanta TriDelta 020Alumnae have raised more than $1.5 million to be used for children’s cancer research. The 2008 Care Affair raised nearly $70,000 with this year’s goal set at $75,000.  Proceeds from the upcoming event will support CURE Childhood Cancer and at Atlanta Chapter of Tri Delta’s scholarship funds.
Highlights for Care Affair include celebrity host Russ Spencer  as well as outstanding live auction items including jewelry, travel, wine tastings and our prize pond with items ranging from $25 to $100.  Advance ticket reservations for this event can be purchased for $80.00 per person on the Care Affair website a www.careaffair.com.
